Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
DEAs produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for existing homes. The market for this has been subdued but is picking up as EPCs are now needed for claiming the Feed in Tariffs and the Renewable Heat Incentive.
Good quality City and Guilds DEA training is available in conjunction with Alan Pither Ltd (a registered C+G centre)
This is a 3 day course normally spread over 3 weeks plus an exam day and a portfolio.
The standard charge for this is £1,250 plus VAT. (a discount will be available if DEA and GDA training are combined)
