Dave Green

Dave is a;

 Domestic Energy Assessor  (NHER, 2007),

Non Domestic Energy Assessor  (NHER, 2011),

ESOS lead assessor (AEE 2016)

and Certified Energy Manager (AEE 2016).

He also has the City and Guilds 6176 'Energy Awareness' (2005),

and a Degree and Diploma in Architecture (1977 and 1981).

Dave, as ESOS Lead Assessor, has successfully delivered ESOS reports for a variety of companies including manufacturing, healthcare and office-based businesses. He is a Certified Energy Manager (registered with AEE) and helped to develop and deliver a business energy scheme with Marches Energy Agency, the Shropshire Hills AONB and the South Shropshire Partnership. He has also delivered Non-Domestic Green Deal reports for a wide variety of organisations.

Dave worked for five years helping to develop the award winning Household Energy Service (HES, see links page) which included working with over 1,000 clients, training the HES volunteers and working with numerous other community based energy schemes. He is now a part time member of the HES energy team.

Dave has delivered Domestic Energy Assessor training for Alan Pither Ltd (see links page), and has also worked part time for Telford Energy Advice Centre, has spent many years in the building trades and has extensive experience of environmental campaigning.

He has also worked on energy opportunity assessments for a number of community and arts groups around the West Midlands as part of the LCEP (Low Carbon Economy Programme) in association with Marches Energy Agency.

Dave has helped to develop and trial a Green Deal Advisor course as part of the Energy Advice Training Consortium (which also includes Alan Pither, Severn Wye Energy Agency, Sandy Carter and NEF)

He is also involved in the Pioneers Programme of the Climate KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community), see the news page for more details on this, and has been heavily involved in setting up the Green Deal Advice Midlands co-operative consortium.

Awards:

NESTA's 'Big Green Challenge', 2010, joint winner as a senior member of the Household Energy Service.

Friends of the Earth 'Earth Mover', 2004,  for environmental campaigning work with Shrewsbury Friends of the Earth.

Andrew Morphet


Andrew provides the full range of energy assessment services required under the Energy Performance of Buildings legislation – domestic and commercial EPCs, SAP, DECs and ESOS. His ability to understand the objectives behind any commission especially new build projects, helps him identify the energy related issues and offer cost effective and practical solutions to overcome them which is largely unique in the field.
His skills and depth of knowledge as an Architect and Project Manager, gained through almost 40 years experience of residential and commercial property, allows him to provide a comprehensive, pro-active service to a wide variety of clients on a national basis including developers, architects and builders.
Andrew ensures compliance with energy legislation, searches for cost savings and aims to make his clients lives simpler and hassle-free. These services have successfully served clients in the commercial, residential and public sectors, most of whom have become repeat customers.

Phil Owen



Phil provides TM44 air conditioning energy efficiency inspections, which are a mandatory requirement for any site with more than 12kw of air conditioning and must be carried out every 5 years. He also provides commercial Energy Performance Certificates, domestic Energy Performance Certificates, and domestic Green Deal reports. He can also provide legionella risk assessments, which are a new requirement for any domestic premises under private rental.
